Concord Police Arrest 2 During Friday Night DUI Patrol
Concord police arrested 2 people on suspicion of DUI and cited 31 drivers for various violations during a DUI saturation patrol on Friday.
CONCORD, CA -- Concord Police say they arrested two people on suspicion of DUI and cited 31 drivers for various vehicle code violations during a DUI saturation patrol on Friday.
Police made a total of 59 vehicle enforcement stops during the patrol. The names of the arrested were not released, nor were the types of infractions that motorists were ticketed for.
Friday's saturation patrol was funded by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Those convicted of DUI can expect the cost to total about $13,500, including fines, fees, DUI classes, license suspension and other expenses.
