'Disassociated From Reality:' Antioch Man Arrested For Assaulting Teen With Knife
Sheriff's deputies arrested an East Bay man Monday night for allegedly assaulting a Sonoma County teenager with a knife.

EAST BAY, CA - Sonoma County Sheriff’s deputies on Monday night arrested a Contra Costa County man for allegedly assaulting a teenager with a knife.
This incident began at about 10:30 pm Monday, March 20 in Guerneville. Deputies were called to Pat’s Bar on a report of a suspicious person walking around with a knife. When they arrived they found the victim, a 17-year-old Guerneville boy with a laceration to his hand. The boy told deputies he was hanging out in downtown near the Bank of America when he saw a man pushing a shopping cart, talking about people trying to get him.
When the victim asked who they were, the man allegedly grabbed the victim from the back, put him in a choke hold, and then pushed a knife against the boy’s throat. The victim was able to push the knife away from his throat and managed to run away, but not before suffering a cut to his hand.

The suspect, David Terrazas, 56, with an Antioch address, was contacted nearby and placed under arrest for assault with a deadly weapon and false imprisonment.
Police say Terrazas’ statements were "nonsensical and inconsistent," and that he "appeared to be disassociated from reality." He was booked into the Sonoma County Jail with bail set at $200,000.
