Downtown Businesses Compete for Best Halloween Decor
Here's where you can see the window displays vying to win the annual Scarecrow Contest in Todos Santos Plaza and the downtown area. Vote for your favorite.
The city had to cancel the annual Halloween parade this year due to budget cuts, but the Scarecrow Contest is up and running.
Thirteen stores downtown have dressed scarecrows in imaginative costumes and created displays around the theme of “elections.”

Vote for your favorite scarecrow display from Oct. 13 through Oct. 28. On Halloween, Wednesday, Oct. 31, from 3 to 5 p.m., downtown businesses flying orange and black balloons will invite costumed parents and children to “trick-or-treat” in the shops surrounding the plaza. The winning scarecrows will then be announced.
