Concord police say a person who crashed their vehicle Wednesday night at Clayton Road and Grant Street was driving under the influence.
CONCORD, CA — Concord police are emphasizing the importance of never driving under the influence after arresting a suspected DUI driver who flipped their vehicle at the intersection of Clayton Road and Grant Street on Wednesday night. Police said there were no major injuries to report.
Pictures of the car and damage to the intersection were shared on the department's Facebook page with a note urging residents to not drink and drive.
"There are so many other options out there now with Uber, Lyft, calling a friend or even taking a taxi home," police wrote in the post. "There's no excuse for driving intoxicated."
