Driver Convicted Of Murder In Concord DUI Crash Death
An Alabama man faces 23 years to life in prison in the 2017 death of 21-year-old Natalie Davies.
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA — An Alabama man was convicted Tuesday morning of second-degree murder for his role in a DUI collision that killed a woman in Concord in November 2017, Contra Costa County prosecutors said Wednesday. Natalie Davies, 21, died in a head-on collision near Kinne Bridge on Willow Pass Road, Nov. 5, 2017. Zachary Punty, 26 at the time, also suffered major, life-altering injuries.
Bo Steven Robledo, a 34-year-old from Selma, was charged several months later and he had turned himself in to Fresno police by early April. Investigators said his high rate of speed and intoxication caused the collision.
Robledo was convicted of second-degree murder, driving under the influence causing great bodily injury and related crimes in connection with a previous DUI conviction from 2013. As a result, he's facing 23-years-to-life in prison when he appears before Judge Rebecca Hardie on July 26.
