CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA β€” A 23-year-old Pittsburg man was arrested after leading Antioch
police on a pursuit and then ramming a police vehicle this morning. Donald Jackson was arrested after allegedly fleeing from a crash and refusing to yield to a traffic stop by officers at about 9:40 a.m. Monday in the area of D Street and West Tregallas Road, Antioch police Lt. Trevor Schnitzius said.

During the pursuit, Jackson allegedly hit another vehicle and then intentionally rammed an Antioch police vehicle twice, police said.

Another officer used their patrol car to disable Jackson's vehicle, but he then tried to arm himself with a short table leg in the car and fought with officers as they tried to take him into custody, according to police.
