Earthquake Shakes East Bay
The earthquake was reported just after 6:20 p.m. Wednesday evening.
DISCOVERY BAY, CAβ A magnitude 3.8 earthquake struck the East Bay city of Discovery Bay around 6:20 p.m. Wednesday, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The quake was felt in the Contra Costa County cities of Brentwood and Clayton, as well as in Tracy and in Manteca β almost 25 miles away from the epicenter, according to responses reported by the USGS.
No injuries or damages were immediately reported in the quake.
