Grass Fire 100 Percent Contained In Brentwood

BRENTWOOD, CA β€” A vegetation fire that broke out Friday in an unincorporated area of Brentwood was 100 percent contained by 1 p.m., a fire official told Patch.

The Albers Fire was reported shortly before 11 a.m. at 124 Albers Court off Deer Valley Road near Marsh Creek Road and the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District quickly put out a third alarm for more resources.

With air support from Cal Fire and a response of over 60 firefighters, the blaze was stopped at 50 acres, Con Fire Spokesperson Chris Toler said.
