Gun, Bulletproof Vest Stolen from FBI Agent's Vehicle in Contra Costa County

BREAKING: The Sheriff's office is working with the FBI to locate and recover the stolen items.

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA -- Several items, including a gun and a ballistic vest, have been stolen from an FBI special agent's vehicle in Contra Costa County, officials from the FBI San Francisco field office have announced.

FBI officials said Jan. 20 that an H&K 10mm MP5, three magazines and one ballistic vest were stolen by an unknown suspect sometime between 6 p.m. Jan. 8 and 10 a.m. Jan. 9 in either Concord, Orinda or Lafayette.

The Contra Costa County Sheriff's office has said its working with the FBI to locate and recover the stolen items.
