Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a man who robbed a Wells Fargo bank in Concord on Friday evening.

CONCORD - Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a man who robbed a bank in Concord on Friday evening.

Around 6 p.m. Friday, a man walked into a Wells Fargo bank branch at 4599 Clayton Road and handed over a note demanding cash, according to Concord police.

The suspect fled the bank with an unspecified amount of money. No weapon was shown during the robbery, police said.

Police said the suspect may be connected with a darker colored Ford Mustang.

He was described as a white man in his 30s who stands at 5 feet 11 inches and weighs 180 pounds.

He was said to have a neatly trimmed full beard, and was wearing a green zip-up sweatshirt and a darker colored cap.
