Mother's Day Treat: Free Music and Coffee

Mother's day will be celebrated in Concord with a music festival featuring K-12 bands at Todos Santos Plaza. Peet's will serve free coffee for a limited time.

If you're looking for something local to do on Mother's Day, Saturday, May 12, check out the All Area Music Festival at Todos Santos Plaza; make sure to stop by the plaza's Peet's Coffee store from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for free coffee.Β 

Music featuring bands from Mt. Diablo Unified schools is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. and last through 7 p.m.

Mayor Ron Leone and Channel 5's Ann Notarangelo will announce the winners of a Mother's Day Essay Contest at 1 p.m. Winners will be awarded gift baskets ut together by the Todos Santos Business Association, according to a message by the city.
