PG&E Invites Bay Area Customers To Coffee Connect Event

Customers can have a one-on-one with PG&E at the event happening later this week in the East Bay.

EAST BAY, CA — Pacific Gas & Electric Company invites customers to connect over a cup — or two — of coffee.

The utility is hosting PG&E Coffee Connect from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, March 1, at Steeltown Coffee & Tea. The locally-owned coffee shop is at 695 Railroad Ave. in Pittsburg.

"PG&E sponsors the coffee, and our local Bay Area team and customer representatives will be on hand to answer customer questions," said Tamar Sarkissian, a spokesperson for PG&E.

"Customers can ask anything, including questions about rate plans, financial assistance options, how to understand energy bills or specific questions about their own account."

It is the first time PG&E has held such an event in the East Bay, Sarkissian told Patch. Customers do not have to live in the East Bay to attend the event.
