Toddler Nearly Drowns After Falling Into Hot Tub: Police Investigating Incident

A 20-month-old toddler was hospitalized after falling into a hot tub at his home in Concord, police said.

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA -- A 20-month-old toddler was recovering at a hospital Sunday night after falling into a hot tub at his home in Concord, according to police.

Police said officers responded to the 1700 block of Claycord Avenue on April 23 on reports of a toddler that had drowned and been removed from a hot tub.

Upon arrival officers found family members administering CPR to the child, before he was taken to a hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
