Video: What Did You Buy at the Used Book Sale?

Residents share what bargains they picked up at the sale.

For the 19th consecutive year, the Clayton Community Library hosted its spring used book sale last weekend.

The three-day sale, along with the fall used book sale, is the largest fundraiser of the year for the library and nets about $10,000.

More than 15,000 books were donated and DVDs also were sold. They were cheap, too. Most of the books were on sale for 50 cents or $1.

Volunteer Jenne Boyd organized the sale and has been running it since the fundraiser began in 1992.

"It gets a little more popular every year," Boyd said.
