Where Do You Log In? What's Your Favorite Wi-Fi Spot?

It’s official!  Unfortunately, the BART strike will continue into Monday and affect the morning commute.   You might consider riding your bicycle across the bay like this guy or you might consider telecommuting.

But, just because you don’t have to show up in the office doesn’t mean you want to work from home.  We asked our Facebook followers to tell us the best places to work when all you really need is a reliable Wi-Fi connection.

Here’s what we learned.

Lamorinda has a wealth of spots with free Wi-Fi.  Justine Parmelee likes Panache Caffe.  She also mentioned that Round-Up Saloon has Wi-Fi which means Patch has a new place to hang out with the neighbors.  Sarah David reminds us that the Lafayette Library has free Wi-Fi and Marni Freels Newhouse mentions the ubiquitous Starbucks.  Papillon also got a mention from reader Pamela Dunn.

According to Cheryk Nakao Walnut Creek residents can who want to avoid the coffee shops can got to the Laptop Lounge on California or Third Workplace. The crew at Title Nine suggests taking a day off work and spending part of it shopping in Walnut Creek.

Apparently Martinez reader Wayne Wonder didn’t understand the question.
