Woman Dead, Another Injured In Antioch Shooting: Police
Gunshots were reported at 4:28 a.m. Thursday in the 4400 block of Delta Fair Boulevard, police said.
ANTIOCH, CA — A woman died and another was injured in a shooting in Antioch early this morning, according to police. Officers responded at 4:28 a.m. to a report of several shots being fired in the 4400 block of Delta Fair Boulevard and arrived to find the two victims, ages 55 and 28.
One of the victims died at the scene and the other was taken to a hospital, and an update on her condition was not immediately available.
The Police Department's investigations bureau responded to the scene and officers are collecting evidence this morning. No other details about the case were released by police.
