80-Degree Temps Expected To Hit Culver City This Weekend
A warming and drying trend will develop over the weekend in Los Angeles County, according to the National Weather Service.

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — Mostly sunny skies are expected this weekend after a damp morning cleared in Los Angeles County Friday.
Rain fell across much of the region Thursday night into early Friday morning, lingering into drive-time in some areas.
Some locations, primarily in the eastern reaches of the county, saw later bursts of rain as the storm system moved out of the region. But while much of the rain moved on, forecasters with the National Weather Service said cooler and breezy conditions would linger through the day. The NWS noted that the "main theme today will be wind."

A high surf advisory is in effect through 5 p.m. Saturday; a wind advisory was issued through 8 p.m. Friday.
The overnight rain was mostly light, although the NWS issued a flood advisory for parts of Los Angeles County, including the San Gabriel Valley and coastal areas, that expired before dawn.

In Orange County, Bee Canyon recorded 0.39 inches of rain as of 5 a.m. Lower Silverado Canyon reported 0.39 inches and Lake Forest reported 0.36 inches, according to the NWS.
But the sun was shining again across most of the region by mid- to late-morning. And forecasters said conditions will get significantly warmer over the weekend.
"A warming and drying trend will develop over the weekend," according to the NWS. "The warming trend will turn more significant on Sunday and Monday when light offshore flow develops beneath ridging aloft."
Forecasters said the change will bring "summer-like weather" to Southern California, thanks to Santa Ana winds. Conditions could get warm enough to topple some heat records by Monday, according to the NWS.
