Annual Culver City Boulevard Music Fest Features 'Something for Everyone'

The annual free festival happens every Thursday from July 7 to Aug. 11

Culver City, CA — Boulevard Music Summer Festival, the free concert series in Culver City will begin next Thursday at the city hall courtyard.

The events takes place at 7 p.m. Thursday from July 7 through Aug. 11 and will feature "something for everyone," organizers said.

While the event is free to attend, festival goers may buy reserved seats for each show at $10 a piece.

The festival will feature music from Country/Bluegrass to World Music/African, Latin/Salsa, '50s Nostalgia, Irish, Soul/R&B and more.

  • Rob Ickes and Trey Hensley (July 7);
  • Peter Mawanga and the Amaravi Movement (July 14);
  • Orquesta Tabaco y Ron (July 21);
  • Big Daddy (July 28);
  • Nuala Kennedy and her ensemble (Aug 4); and
  • Missy Andersen and her band (Aug 11).

Concert goers are encouraged to park on the Westside to avoid crowds and other parking issues. Parking is free for two hours in designated parking structures in Culver Cityt
