Armed Robbery Suspect Held Store Employee At Knifepoint: Police

CULVER CITY, CA — An armed robbery suspect Monday held a store employee at knifepoint and police are asking the public to help identify him.

The armed robbery happened Monday about 2:30 p.m. at a business in the 4300 block of Sepulveda Boulevard, near the 405 Freeway, according to the Culver City Police Department.

The suspect walked into the business, brandished a knife at the cashier and demanded the money from the cash register, police said. The amount of money stolen was not disclosed.

The victim gave the suspect the money and then the suspect ran away from the location, police said. He was last seen running south on Sepulveda Boulevard.

Police described the suspect as a white man, about 40 years old, 5 feet 8 inches, wearing red and white hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, gray shoes, glasses and a face mask.
