Armed Suspect Robs Culver City Store; Police Seek Public Help

An armed man robbed a Culver City store this weekend and police are asking the public to help identify him.

CULVER CITY, CA — Police Tuesday asked the public to help identify an armed robbery suspect who held a Culver City store employee at gunpoint this weekend.

The armed robbery happened around 10:25 p.m. Sunday inside a store in the 10800 block of Washington Boulevard, near Midway Avenue, according to the Culver City Police Department. No one was injured.

Video released by police shows a man wearing a purple, white and black hoodie walking into the store and brandishing a gun at an employee behind a counter. He left in a white Chrysler 300.

No suspect description was immediately available. Investigators did not disclose how much money was stolen from the store.
