CCMS Student to Compete in ‘Majors & Minors’ Final on Sunday

Cameron DeFaria, 13, will be singing and playing the guitar in the grand finale of Hub TV Network's 'Majors & Minors' in West Hollywood on Sunday evening. The winner will be announced on air on Jan. 29.

Thirteen-year-old Culver City Middle School student Cameron DeFaria has made it all the way to the finals of Hub TV Network’s ‘Majors & Minors’ show, which will be recorded on Sunday evening at the Key Club in West Hollywood.

‘Majors & Minors’ takes students between the ages of 10 and 16 and assigns them mentors to help them with their performance skills. Mentors for the show include some of today’s highly-recognized names in the music business including Avril Lavigne, Colbie Caillat, Adam Lambert, Jennifer Hudson, will.i.am, Leona Lewis, Brandy, Jordin Sparks, Sean Kingston and OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder.

Unlike other music television competitions, none of the kids are ever voted off, although a winner will be crowned. The winner will be announced on air over the two-part finale on Jan. 22 and Jan. 29.
