Culver City Architecture Tour with KCRW's DnA: ‘Design and Architecture’
Design East of La Brea is partnering with KCRW for the two-hour guided tour on April 14 from 10 a.m. to noon.

Design East of La Brea (known as De Lab), is teaming up with KCRW's DnA: Design and Architecture for a two-hour design tour of Culver City on April 14 from 10 a.m. to noon.
According to a De Lab press release, the tour will focus on “contemporary design and architecture, stopping by the area's newest buildings, studios and stores, and meeting many of the creatives who are transforming the city into one of the most exciting pockets of L.A.”
Among the companies that will be visited are Morphosis and Clive Wilkinson Architects.

Attendees will also have an opportunity to meet with Eric Owen Moss who will talk about the legacy and future of the Conjunctive Points and Hayden Tract developments.
There will also be a special stop at Arcana Books, which recently moved to Culver City from Santa Monica, and was designed by Johnston Marklee.

Culver City City Planner Joshua Williams will also take part in the tour and will be on hand to answer any questions.
The tour will end at Helms Bakery at noon where attendees can grab lunch from the food trucks and then enjoy an afternoon of design and architecture events hosted by DnA's Frances Anderton.
There will also be two panel discussions, live music from KCRW DJ Liza Richardson, a pop-up gallery of design curated by DnA's new "DJs" (design journalists), food available for purchase by Let's Be Frank, and more! Tickets for the afternoon events are available at KCRW.com

Attendees should meet at 10 a.m. in the pedestrian plaza named Helms Walk near the corner of Helms Avenue and Washington Boulevard. (Link on Google Maps to location.
Free parking is plentiful in one of several lots (view map here), or the Expo Line is only a few blocks away.
