Culver City Café Supports Oklahoma Relief
LA Spice Café has created an Oklahoma-inspired specials menu and will donate $1 from every purchase to victims of the Oklahoma tornadoes.

In an effort to help out those devastated by the recent tornadoes in Oklahoma, Culver City's LA Spice Café has created a special menu celebrating the heart and soul of Oklahoma cooking.
For each item sold from this special menu, $1 will be donated to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. The specials will be offered all this week through Sun. June 9.
The menu includes shrimp and corn hush puppies with caramelized onion dip, half a BBQ chicken served with sweet potato mash, crispy okra, and corn and red pepper cornbread, peach cobbler, and old fashioned oklahoma pecan pie with fresh whipped cream.
“Our hearts go out to the victims of the Oklahoma tornadoes. We can’t be there to help cook for them, but we can show our support through supporting the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma," LA Spice owner LeAnne Schwartz said in an official statement.
The Regional Food Bank's site states it is the "largest private hunger relief organization in Oklahoma” with a mission of “Fighting Hunger, Feeding Hope.”
LA Spice Cafe is located at 4357 Sepulveda Blvd., Culver City.
