CULVER CITY, CA — Sun-Maid raisins boxes feature a doodle from a Culver City kid in Target stores around the country.

Abigael P. from Culver City's entry in the Doodle Challenge is featured on the front of the snack's iconic red box until the end of September. After a nationwide search, Abigael's design was chosen by Sun-Maid's Board of Imagination and tapped into the imaginations of kids all over the country.

With a continued commitment to imagination, Sun-Maid's back-to-school campaign "feeds imagination" and strives to make ‘goodness’ possible the company said in a statement.

The seasonal packaging is only a part of the campaign, Sun-maid also donated $50,000 to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to finding a cure for childhood cancer. The kids in the Board of Imagination, aged 6 to 12, voted to support the kid-focused charity in the spring of 2022.

“It is so special to be selected by Sun-Maid’s Board of Imagination to receive this very generous $50,000 donation,” said Liz Scott, Alex’s mom and Co-Executive Director of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. “We’re so inspired by kids-helping-kids and this couldn’t be a more wonderful choice to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children fighting cancer.”
