Culver City Police Arrest Two Alleged Burglary Suspects
Culver City police arrested two alleged burglary suspects early Friday.

CULVER CITY, CA — Police arrested two alleged suspects on suspicion of burglary early Friday in Culver City.
The arrest happened at 3:18 a.m. in the 4000 block of Harter Avenue, according to police.
Police saw a suspicious vehicle with two people driving slowly in the area without headlights.

"A traffic stop was conducted for vehicle code violations and probable cause was developed to search the vehicle," police said.
Police allegedly found a loaded handgun, additional magazines containing ammunition, drug paraphernalia and burglary tools.

"The occupants were arrested for probable cause burglary," police said.
The driver was an apparent convicted felon in possession of a firearm, police said. Their names were not immediately released.
Detectives are still investigating the incident.
View this post on InstagramARREST OF INTEREST On 08/14/20, at approximately 0318 hours, CCPD officers were patrolling the 4000 block of Harter Avenue. The officers observed a suspicious vehicle occupied by two people slowly driving in the area, with no headlights. A traffic stop was conducted for vehicle code violations and probable cause was developed to search the vehicle. Inside the vehicle, the officers recovered a loaded handgun, additional magazines containing ammunition, drug paraphernalia, and burglary tools. The occupants were arrested for probable cause burglary. The driver, who was a convicted felon was also charged with Ex-Felon in possession of a firearm. Detectives are actively conducting follow-up and the case will be presented to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office for criminal filing consideration.
