Culver City Police Blotter: Vandalism, Burglary and Bicycle Theft
Despite having his bike locked up, one man reported that his bicycle was stolen in the 4900 block of Overland Ave. He only left the bike unattended for 90 minutes.

Here's a recap of crimes that occurred between April 2 and April 8, as reported to the Culver City Police Department.
Vandalism
On April 2 at 5 p.m. a victim called the police department to report graffiti on the rear of his building. The victim said he resides in the 5200 block of Kinston Ave. and when he checked the rear garage area he discovered unknown suspect(s) had painted his property.

Burglary
On April 3 at 10:57 a.m. officers responded to the 5100 block of Purdue Ave. regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them she locked and secured her residence at 9:15 a.m. and returned at 10:45 a.m. When she returned she noticed her rear door was open. The victim then checked the interior of her residence and discovered her property missing.

Bike Theft
On April 4 at 5:25 p.m. a victim came to the police department to report his bicycle had been stolen. The victim said he parked and locked his bike in the 4900 block of Overland Ave. at 12 p.m. and when he returned at 1:30 p.m. discovered his bike was missing.
Car Burglary
On April 3 at 4:53 p.m officers responded to the 6000 block of Centinela Ave. regarding a car burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them she parked and locked her 2003 Acura at 2:50 p.m. and when she returned at 3:30 p.m. discovered her passenger window had been smashed out and her property missing.
Commercial Burglary
On April 6 at 8:15 a.m. officers responded to the 9000 block of Washington Blvd. regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the reporting party who said a co-worker locked and secured the location at 12:30 a.m. When he arrived at 7:45 a.m. he discovered the safe was open and its contents missing.
