Culver City Police Chief To Leave Department
Culver City Police Chief Manuel Cid announced he would step away from the position for another opportunity.

CULVER CITY, CA — After 18 years of service at the Culver City Police Department, Police Chief Manuel Cid announced his departure from his position Tuesday.
According to CCPD Cid is departing from the department for another opportunity. He became the department's interim chief in 2020 and was appointed to the job the following year.
Cid's last day will be Jan. 15, 2023, CCPD said. The City Council appointed Assistant Chief Jason Sims as Interim Police Chief to lead the organization starting Jan. 16.
