Culver City Police Searching For Armed Robbery Suspects

Culver City police are asking the public's help for information about an armed robbery late Thursday.

CULVER CITY, CA — Culver City police were asking the public's help in the search for three armed robbery suspects Friday who stole a man's iPhone and gold chain.

The armed robbery happened about 10:50 p.m. Thursday near Jefferson Boulevard and Indian Wood Road, police said in a news release.

The victim said he was standing on the sidewalk when a dark-colored sedan pulled next to him.

"The vehicle stopped, at which time the three suspects opened the car doors and began telling the victim to remain quiet," police said. "Suspect #1 pointed a silver handgun at the victim and demanded the victim’s property and the victim complied."

They reportedly drove off in the sedan and fled eastbound on Jefferson Boulevard.

Police described the three suspects as the following:

  • Suspect #1: Latino man, about 18-25 years old, wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, armed with a silver handgun.
  • Suspect #2: Male, white or Latino with a heavy build, about 18-25 years old, unknown clothing.
  • Suspect #3: Male, white or Latino, about 18-25 years old, unknown clothing.
