Culver City Police Searching for Teen Suspect in Armed Robberies

The suspect was described as a black teenage boy between 16 and 18 years old, wearing a pink sweatshirt and is approximately 6 feet tall.

Culver City, CA -- Police are looking for a armed robbery suspect, possibly a teenager, who robbed two separate victims on Wednesday -- one in Culver City, the other in nearby Westchester.

The first robbery occurred at around 11 p.m. in the 10800 block of Galvin Street in Culver City. A man was robbed at gunpoint, police said.

The suspect, described as a black teenager, betweent the age of 16 and 18, wearing a pink sweater and was about 6 foot tall, was armed with a semi-automatic handgun, police said.

The suspect took the man's bag and fled southbound on Overland Street, near Galvin Street. Police said a newer four-door sedan with a spoiler on the back was possibly connected to the robbery.

About 30 minutes later, another victim was robbed of their cell phone at gunpoint in front of the Bristol Farms near 84th Street and Lincoln Boulevard in th Westchester area.

The suspect in this incident was described as a black man in his 20s, also wearing a pink sweater.
