Culver City Residents: Take Part in National Mayor’s Challenge for Water Conservation

The 2nd Annual Mayor's Challenge for Water Conservation runs for the entire month of April and is a friendly, community-based competition between cities across the nation to see who can be the most "water wise."

April marks the 2nd Annual Mayor’s Challenge for Water Conservation.

With support from Toyota, US EPA, US Forest Service, and NOAA, mayors nationwide challenge residents to conserve water, energy and other natural resources on behalf of their city through a series of informative, easy-to-use online pledges.

The city with the highest percentage of residents who takes the challenge wins. It’s that simple.

Help Culver City win the challenge by going online to www.mywaterpledge.com from now until April 30 and pledge to conserve water, save energy and reduce waste.

Residents from winning cities will be entered to win prizes including a Toyota Prius c, water saving fixtures and gift cards to Loweʼs Home Improvement Stores.

Last year, the challenge awarded more than $50,000 in prizes to 1,200 residents throughout the country. But, more importantly, participants saw results based on simple actions they can do to save water and energy.
