Culver City's Newest Tropical Rooftop Eatery: Report

The Shay Hotel has something new up its sleeve for Culver City visitors and residents — an all-day tropical poolside restaurant and bar.

CULVER CITY, CA — Culver City has a new tropical mini getaway for locals and visitors. It's bright, filled with lush palm trees and perched on a rooftop — Canopy Club is the city's newest poolside hang.

The Shay Hotel, at 8801 Washington Boulevard, is the first Destination by Hyatt in the Greater Los Angeles Area. It opened last October and first offered its rooftop restaurant Celestina, which has now been replaced by the Canopy Club, according to multiple reports.

Canopy Club was curated by Mosaic, a restaurant management firm. The new club offers colorful murals, shaded patio seating, 360 views of the city, a seafood driven menu and tropical cocktails. What's more, they've got a pool for guests to lounge by as they sip tiki-inspired drinks, Eater LA reported.
