Elderly Woman Goes Missing In Culver City, Walked Away From Nursing Home

The 81-year-old, who suffers from medical issues, was believed to have walked away from her nursing home Thursday night.

CULVER CITY, CA — Authorities on Friday asked for the public's help in finding an 81-year-old woman suffering from medical issues who went missing in Culver City.

Dorothy Jean Taylor, 81, was last seen Thursday at around 10 p.m. at the care facility where she lives near Jefferson and Sepulveda boulevards. Authorities believe she walked away from the facility on foot, according to the Culver City Police Department

She was last seen wearing a white tank top and yellow pants and is described as a 4-foot-11 Black woman with brown eyes and medium-length grey hair, weighing about 125 lbs.

Taylor suffers from dementia, anemia, diabetes, and hypertension and requires medications.
