Farragut Elementary School Hosts Artworks!
The Culver City Elementary school's annual fundraiser on April 13 supporting arts education marks its 10th year.
Farragut Elementary's Artworks! the school's annual fundraiser supporting arts education, celebrates its 10th anniversary this year.
The entire community is invited to the school's campus from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sat. April 13 for Artworks! for Kids, a fun, free celebration of arts education in our schools.
Expect plenty of performances, workshops and art happenings throughout the day and groups from schools throughout Culver City will take the stage, as well as the fabulous Street Drum Corps and some shreddin' pro skateboarders.

Workshops range from candle making to RockSTAR to a group art piece entitled "Metropolis III," a kids' version of a piece on display at LACMA.
The Artworks! online auction will be open from April 14 through April 24. You can access it at FarragutFanClub.org. More than 300 items are available, including vacations, restaurant gift cards, movie and sports collectibles, fine art and kids' camps.

The following Saturday – April 20 – will be the adults only Anniversary Soiree at Fresh Paint Art Gallery, with dinner, drinks a DJ and a live jazz band. Purchase your tickets in advance at FarragutFanClub.org - this party is always sold out!
