Man, 62, Accused Of Shooting At People In Culver City

A 62-year-old man was arrested Friday for allegedly shooting at multiple people, wounding one, in Culver City.

CULVER CITY, CA — A 62-year-old man was arrested Friday for allegedly shooting at multiple people, one of whom was wounded.

The gunfire was reported about 2:40 p.m. in the 4300 block of Sawtelle Boulevard, near Culver Boulevard, according to the Culver City Police Department.

Officers initially arrested the Culver City resident on suspicion of negligent discharge of a firearm, but about 3:30 p.m., police received a call about a gunshot victim at a hospital.

Officers determined that the suspect allegedly "fired multiple shots at the victim and other subjects," and he was booked on suspicion of attempted murder, according to a police statement.
