Man Dies, Hit By Vehicle in Culver City
The intersection of Washington and Elenda was blocked off Sunday afternoon due to a fatal pedestrian versus vehicle collision, according to a Culver City Police Department press release. John Boyle, 53, died in the accident.
On Sunday, Nov. 27, at about 3 p.m. a pedestrian versus vehicle collision occurred on Washington Boulevard between Elenda Street and Girard Avenue. The pedestrian was identified as John Boyle, a 53-year-old resident of Los Angeles. He was transported to UCLA Medical Center where he later died from his injuries. The investigation is currently being handled by the Culver City Police Department’s traffic investigators to determine the cause of the accident.
