Shots Fired At Culver City Park; No Suspects Or Victims Found

A shooting was reported at Culver City Park early Monday but no one was found hurt.

CULVER CITY, CA — Shots were fired early Monday in Culver City Park, but no victim was found, police said.

The shooting was reported about 1:15 a.m. near a baseball field in the park at 9910 Jefferson Blvd., near Leash Lane, according to the Culver City Police Department.

Officers set up a containment and conducted an extensive search, but they did not find any suspects or victims of the shooting near the park or in nearby hospitals, police said. They did recover seven 9mm shell casings and six live 9mm rounds of ammunition near the baseball field on the third level of the park.
