No injuries were reported. The suspect may have been suffering a mental episode, police said.

CULVER CITY, CA — A suspect in a stolen FedEx truck crashed into a mixed-use building in Culver City and was detained by people in a nearby business, according to police.
The incident happened at around 3:55 p.m. Monday at the corner of Washington Boulevard and Tilden Avenue when the suspect was seen fighting with a FedEx driver, Culver City police Lt. Aubrey Kellum said.
The suspect then drove the stolen struck a short distance before crashing into a mixed-use commercial building, Kellum said.

The man was then seen running into the nearby Marin B. Retting gun store where he assaulted an employee and had to be subdued by the store's other employees using pepper spray until police arrived, Kellum said.
"The investigation seems to reveal the suspect might have been having a mental health episode when he assaulted the driver and took the driver's delivery truck," he said.
