Laura Chardiet Has My Vote

Dear Editor, 

For several years, I have had the pleasure of working on PTA with Laura Chardiet. She has great ideas, a quick mind and the drive and energy to get things done, always with great humor.

I know Laura has what it takes to be an effective member of the school board. She has been a classroom teacher, a school administrator, managed a multi-million dollar budget for LAUSD, served in too many volunteer capacities to name, and is a parent of Culver City students.  She will hit the ground running.
Most importantly, in these economic times it is essential we elect someone who understands budgets, someone who can approach problems creatively, analyze them thoroughly and prioritize effectively. Laura Chardiet has that special set of skills, and she has demonstrated her passion for our kids, our schools and our community time and time again.

I hope you will join me in voting for Laura Chardiet!
