As part of a Public Works improvement project, a pedestrian crossing signal will be placed at the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Boise Avenue, beginning Monday, Jan. 23. The construction will also include a conduit, traffic signal controller, electrical wiring and a new paver crosswalk, according to a press release from the City.
The expected hours of work will be 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and the project is expected to be completed by March 2012.
The City is warning residents in the area that the construction may result in temporary loss of street parking, a brief loss of driveway access to home properties, construction noise and dust.
