1 Dead In Danville Car Crash: Police
A passenger died after a truck flipped over in a crash at Sycamore Valley Road and Camino Ramon, police said.
DANVILLE, CA — One person died during a traffic collision on Saturday in Danville, according to the Danville Police Department.
On Saturday at around 1:15 p.m., Danville police were dispatched to a traffic collision at the intersection of Sycamore Valley Road and Camino Ramon, police said in a statement.
Upon arrival, police discovered that a minivan and a truck were involved in a major collision, and the truck was overturned. San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District paramedics were dispatched to the scene, where they performed life-saving measures, but an adult passenger of the truck was pronounced dead on the scene. The adult driver of the truck sustained minor injuries, and the two other passengers of the truck, an adult and teenager, were not injured, according to police. The minivan driver, the only person in that car, sustained minor injuries. All were transported John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek.

The intersection was closed for more than six hours and reopened at around 7:50 p.m. Saturday, according to town spokesperson Jenn Starnes.
