2 Cars Stolen In Alamo, 4 Suspects Arrested: Sheriff
Four suspects were arrested after a high-speed chase that involved CHP, the Contra Costa Sheriff's Office, and three police departments.
ALAMO, CA — Four suspects were arrested Wednesday on charges of stealing two cars in Alamo, according to the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office.
At around 1:40 a.m. Wednesday, Valley Station deputies received reports of two vehicle thefts on the 100 block of La Sonoma Way in Alamo. The suspects fled, and deputies located them in Concord. The suspects drove away so quickly that deputies stopped the chase.
Dispatch later found one of the stolen vehicles in Bay Point, and another in Orinda. Suspects fled on foot. With the assistance of Muir Station deputies, CHP air support, and police from Orinda, Lafayette, and Pittsburg, all four suspects were located and arrested.

Police recovered vehicles and personal property, and returned them to the owner. The four suspects were booked into Martinez Detention Facility on charges of burglary, felony evasion, and vehicle theft.
