2 Small Quakes Hit Near Alamo: USGS

The two quakes hit early Wednesday morning just outside Alamo, according to the United States Geological Survey.

ALAMO, CA — A pair of earthquakes hit four kilometers west of Alamo early Wednesday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The first quake measured at 2.6 and hit at 3:06 a.m. four kilometers west of Alamo, according to the USGS. The second quake measured at a 2.5 and hit at 4:45 a.m. four kilometers west of Alamo. People around the area reported feeling the quakes weakly or lightly, according to USGS's "Did You Feel It?" survey tool.
