Alamo Home Burglarized During Real Estate Showing: Sheriff's Office

BREAKING: The Contra Costa Co. Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help identifying the woman suspected of stealing jewelry.

ALAMO, CA — A house in Alamo was burglarized during an open house and the Contra Costa County Sheriff's office is asking for help in identifying the suspects.A real estate agent was showing the home on Valley Oaks Drive on Sunday, July 16 when a woman allegedly stole some jewelry and watches, according to sheriff's office officials.

The realtor was distracted by a second woman during the burglary, and investigators believe the two were working together. The burglary was reported by the home owner shortly after they returned home. The two suspects were both described as African American woman in their 20s around 5 feet 6 inches tall with heavy builds.

Investigators have released a photo of one of the suspects, taken from surveillance camera footage. Anyone with any information on this case or the identity of this suspect is asked to contact the Investigation Division at (925) 313-2661.
