Danville is one of 11 Bay Area cities named as the 25 wealthiest in the country with over 25,000 people based on median household income.

DANVILLE, CA — Danville is the 17th wealthiest community with over 25,000 people in the country based on median household income five-year estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2021 American Community Survey analyzed in a report from 24/7 Wall St.
Danville has a median household income of $181,453, and a median house value of $1,869,416, according to the survey and Zillow, respectively. Its home value is the 22nd highest in the country, according to the report.
Bay Area cities comprised 11 cities in the Top 25 list, including the number one spot. San Ramon ranked 25, with a median household income of $173,519 and a 2023 median home value of $1,536,120. With a population of 85,688, San Ramon has the highest population of the Top 25 list.
