Danville Bowl Closing After 60+ Years
The beloved local bowling alley will close at the end of March, and the property has already been sold to a developer.
DANVILLE, CA — Danville Bowl will close March 31 after over 60 years, the owners announced in an Instagram post late Wednesday.
"It has been the greatest honor to serve this great community during the last 60+ years. We hope we’ve provided fun times, smiles, and laughter to everyone who came in," the post began. "Sadly, the time has come for us to move on. Thank you for the wonderful memories and fun times we all shared. We couldn’t have dreamed of being apart of a greater community. Thank you again, Danville."
The owners said that the property on Boone Court has been sold to developers, who intend to begin new construction right away.
