Danville Businesses Can Receive Up To $3000 In Grants
Local Danville businesses can apply to be placed on a waitlist to receive up to $3,000 in grants for a number of upgrades.
DANVILLE, CA — The Town of Danville approved a grant program to allow small businesses to receive up to $3,000 in façade improvements, marketing efforts, payment systems, and more, the town announced last week.
The Danville Town Council designated a total of $200,000 in grant funding for its Business Boost Grant Program, which is designated to help local brick-and-mortar businesses with fewer than 10 full-time equivalent employees. The grants are designed to provide immediate and flexible assistance to Danville businesses that fall in the following categories:
- Retail.
- Restaurants.
- Personal service (e.g. spas and salons).
- Service commercial (e.g. fitness and dance).
- Blended use businesses.
Grants are available to help with marketing, enrichment and improvements, customer service enhancements and promotional events. Funds cannot be used for staff salaries or benefit costs, and must be used within a year of the award.

As of May 8, applications are being placed on a waitlist should certain applications not qualify for funding. Aid is distributed within 30 days of grant approval. Businesses can apply here.
