Danville Businesses Competing For Best Holiday Storefront
Visitors are encouraged to stroll downtown and select the prettiest storefront before Jan. 4.
DANVILLE, CA — Downtown Danville is merrier than ever thanks to the Storefront Decorating Contest, in which local businesses compete to have the prettiest storefront.
From now until Jan. 4, visitors are invited to stroll and shop downtown, and vote for their favorite display. Anyone who votes will be entered into a free weekly drawing to win prizes from local businesses. See here to vote.

The contest is just a part of all the holiday happenings in Danville. Every Saturday from Nov. 30 to Dec. 21 from 1-3 p.m., visitors can enjoy live swing and jazz performances at the new Prospect Park Plaza.
Children who drop off letters to Santa at Santa's Mailbox from Dec. 2-13 are promised a letter from Santa himself by Christmas Eve. Kids from 1-9 can also meet Santa at the Elf Workshop from Dec. 13-14, where they can take photos and decorate holiday crafts.
