Danville Council To Review Progress On Trails, Housing, & Roads

The report from Development Services will cover downtown upgrades, new housing applications, and storm drain improvements.

DANVILLE, CA — The Danville Town Council will hear a report from the Development Services Department on key capital projects and development milestones at their Tuesday meeting.

Council members will hear updates on a number of important projects, including:

  • Progress on the Diablo Multi-Purpose Trail
  • Downtown enhancements near the Village Art Gallery
  • The near completion of the San Ramon Valley Boulevard paving project
  • Playground renovations at Diablo Vista Park
  • Updates on the Storm Drainage Master Plan
  • Updates on the Fiber Optic Interconnect Project
  • Iron Horse Trail crossing improvements
  • New bike infrastructure
  • The modernization of traffic signals across 48 intersections

The report will also cover housing developments and building activity, including final inspections at the 600 Hartz Avenue condos, and building permits issued for the last homes in Magee Preserve. The Planning Division is currently reviewing several significant housing applications, including a 200-unit apartment proposal at Danville Village and a 105-unit assisted living facility.
