Danville Hosts California Watercolor Association Exhibit
From Saturday through June, enjoy watercolors of California from 37 artists at the Village Theatre and Art Gallery.
The Town of Danville announces the opening of California, Places & People, an exhibition depicting California, places and people from the California Watercolor Association (CWA). The opening reception is Saturday, April 20 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and is free and open to the public.
The Village Theatre Art Gallery exhibition runs through June 21. California has many beautiful and meaningful places to inspire art. Thirty seven artists from CWA have selected paintings of favorite places they have visited in California or people they have seen here to include in California, Places & People. The show also includes abstract watercolor works inspired by a person or place in California. This exhibition supports CWA’s mission to create, foster, and sustain artistic growth and interest in watermedia.
