Danville Lend-A-Hand Day Encourages Community To Help Seniors
The city is looking for volunteers for the 18th annual Lend-A-Hand Day April 23.
DANVILLE, CA — Danville is asking residents to extend a helpful hand to seniors in the community. The 18th annual Lend-A-Hand Day on April 23 asissts seniors with basic yard cleaning like mowing, raking and weeding.
150 volunteers and the Town of Danville work together to to help community neighbors in need. Anyone 13 years and older can volunteer from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
If you can’t make this event, you can volunteer for a handful of others, including including Eggstravaganza, May 4 Be with You, Kids Night Out.
